First time here and we enjoyed everything from this place! The service was great since we felt very Welcoming! The food was Amazingly good and it came out very fast. Since we still dealing with this COVID-19 pandemic; they have tables and chairs outside and it was excellent due to it was a very nice weather in Newport beach today. They even adjust a few things in our order and we’re Very pleased with everything! Planning to return next time we’re in town. It’s a little bit pricey, but it’s worth every penny!
We happened to find this small cafe while we were waiting for a table at another cafe. Glad that we tried this cafe instead. I had the popular menu called Stuffed French Toast with cream cheese and mixed berries topped, also came with two eggs and hash browns. The food was amazing and it’s only for 12.50?! The service was great. All the servers were very friendly and being proactive. I highly recommended this place. I would go back for the French toast that is my favorite.
This little hole in the wall. Is a diamond in the rough. Stopped here for breakfast the stuffed French toast. Needless to say I was very pleased with my meal. You’re looking for something out-of-the-way and quiet. Stop by this quaint little place. Well worth the money. Good service and good quality.
We’ve been coming to Side Street Cafe for 20 years, and it never disappoints. It’s fun to see how many regulars they have. We got the stuffed French toast and an egg scramble with toast, and it was as good as always. Staff is super friendly! It’s always hopping busy, so plan your time accordingly!
The place is an amazing place for brunch. We came here and tried out the omelettes, pancakes and loved all the food and the ambiance as well. Nice cozy place where you get value for your food!
I've been coming here for over 2 decades. Been here over 100x. I can't say enough about this place. Never once a bad meal and with every visit I've had STELLAR service. As you can see by my picture that I can eat a lot. I've had just about every on the menu. Feeling healthy? The Harley special. Feeling indulgent? Cream stuffed French toast. And everything else in between is definitely worth every bite. You'll enjoy the great vibe of the low key atmosphere and guaranteed excellent service. LOVE this place.
This place is an absolute gem. Best breakfast in the area by far. I love how incredibly cute the inside is. The quaint coffee cups also add some fun to the atmosphere. Super friendly wait staff that is very attentive. The Eggs Benedict is amazing. Eggs were perfectly poached on top of thick slices of ham. The side sausage patty is well seasoned and delicious.
Absolutely amazing all around. The restaurant is family owned with 3 generations running it. They're very attentive to all tables and always refilling your drinks. Food was delicious and good size portions. Great prices as well. Definitely coming back to this location because the hospitality and quality is nothing a chain restaurant can reproduce!
